Starting in 2009, the YMCA of Santa Clara Valley and YMCA of the Mid-peninsula merged to for YMCA of SIlicon Valley. The YMCA of SIlicon Valley is the fourth largest nonprofit organization in Silicon Valley and ranks in the top 15 largest YMCAs in the USA.
The South Valley Family YMCA has a 25 yard outdoor lap pool, half-court basketball area, a cycling studio and a gymnasium. They operate a Kids Corner and a Teen Center.
