This is a Sacramento County park that came about when the Air Base closed. It includes a golf course, playground, picnic area, fishing lake, model plane field, and vernal pools (in spring).

The golf course is County operated and has putting green, driving range, and 18 holes. $
The Mather Aerospace Modelers field is for members and guests
(to fly, not to watch).
The model field has a paved runway and an unpaved parking area for two dozen (others along road?). The golf course parks about 50 -60.
The park which is co sponsored by the Rancho Cordova Rotary can park about 85 (paved here) plus handicapped. There is a $5. charge to use the Rotary/ Co park. $10 if you are oversize.
