Long Description:
The Vicarage was built in 1852 by the Reverend A.B. Wilson. He was suspended from his benefice for a year for publishing an essay which he later successfuly obtained a reversal on this decision from the Privy Council.

The house is a typical Victorian design with a slate roof.
