This is the fountain in the courtyard of the main post chapel of Fort Huachuca, Arizona. It is a very peaceful place that is perfect for meditation or just relaxing. The fountain has been converted to a holder of artificial flowers as the post is doing all that it can to conserve water. The drought has hit the area hard and the post is truly committed to water conservation. The flowers in the fountain do not appear to be faded or weathered so they must be replaced on a regular basis. Except for the one brace that is out of place, the fountain looks well maintained and clean leading me to believe that it is someone's regular duty to take care of it as well as the whole courtyard. It does appear that all of the plumbing is still in place to convert the fountain back to water should water rationing not be needed any longer.
