Samuel S. Lewis State Park consists of 85 acres, dominated by Mt. Pisqah, an 885-foot high ridge overlooking the valley of the Susquehanna River.

The park was named to honor Samuel S. Lewis who was the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Forest and Waters Department from 1951-1954.

Activities:
Picnic Area, Hiking, and an excellent location for the local kite fliers.


Background:
Samuel S. Lewis donated 35 acres, while the remaining acreage was purchased by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
