Mural Routes - Heritage Trail - Mural #1
Half Way House c. 1850 by John Hood Sept 1990. Built as an inn at the corner of Kingston Road and what is now Midland Avenue c. 1850, Half Way House was a rural stage coach stop half way between the village of Dunbarton and the St. Lawrence Market in Toronto. The building served many purposes before being moved to Black Creek Pioneer Village in 1965.
