When you reach the Little Talbot Island State Park Ranger Station where you pay to enter the park, you can purchase a Florida Park Service Passport for $7.95. They'll ask you to pull into a parking space to the right of the Ranger Station and to come inside where you can pay for the passport and get it stamped. This Ranger Station maintains stamps for all seven coastal State Parks in this area, including Amelia Island, Big Talbot Island, Fort George Island, Little Talbot Island, and Yellow Bluff Fort State Parks; George Crady Bridge Fishing Pier; and Pumpkin Hill Creek Preserve. This is because most of the other parks do not have facilities or sufficient personnel to man a passport cancellation station. We've been to all seven parks to find geocaches, so we had them stamp all of them when we purchased the passport at Little Talbot Island State Park.
Hours of Operation
Florida state parks are open from 8 a.m. until sundown 365 days a year.
