Station lies in the median on I-81 above Exit 59 (Kingsport) on the north end of underpass gap. See an orange witness post by the guard rail. There is enough shoulder to pull completely off the interstate.

WARNING: Dangerous! Interstate traffic coming full throttle up to 70 mph (or more). Be careful when exiting vehicle to head to the control marker. This waymark is NOT suitable for children or anyone who cannot quickly cross a road.
