The survey point this azimuth mark supports is further east on Hwy 126 on the left in from a nicely kept farm.

The disk was buried under an inch of dirt from the highway - and will be again as it is below the road grade. A new witness post had been put into place, but also the former broken one was at the site. City engineering department has spray painted a direction arrow on the highway to the disk.

From I-81 Exit 66 head northwest on Highway TN126/Memorial Blvd towards Kingsport. AZ mark is on the right side in bend of road, but no parking here as no shoulder.
