"DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1954 AT PALO ALTO. AT PALO ALTO, AT THE TRAFFIC CIRCLE AT THE INTERSECTION OF UNIVERSITY AVENUE AND ALMA STREET, ABOUT 82 YARDS EAST OF AND ACROSS THE TRACKS FROM THE EAST CORNER OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY RAILROAD STATION, AT THE CONCRETE BRIDGE OVER THE AVENUE, IN THE TOP OF THE SOUTHEAST END OF THE NORTHEAST CONCRETE CURB, 68.3 FEET NORTHEAST OF THE NORTHEAST RAIL OF THE NORTHEAST TRACK, 0.4 FOOT NORTH OF THE SOUTH CORNER POST OF THE METAL HAND RAIL, AND ABOUT 1 FOOT HIGHER THAN THE TRACKS."
To get to the bechmark, follow the side walk from University Ave to Alma St. It's at the begining of the overpass, and is painted green.
