What a place. Shallow waters, miles of soft white sand, clean, warn, relaxing, wonderful beach located on the Island of Mujeres, right by Cancun. Walk out for 150 yards and only be hip deep.

Playa Norte is the only beach on Isla Mujeres, but once you see it, you'll understand why another one isn't necessary. It is absolutely glorious. The waters are clear and turquoise and offer perfect conditions for offshore snorkeling, and diving off El Garraf¢n reef. A quick boat ride takes you to the wildlife reserves of Isla Contoy and its totally secluded beach, which is also great for bird watching and relaxation.
