I am not sure what the history of this mill is. There is still quite a bit of machinery inside the main building. The site is quite interesting! The waymark places you between the mill and the dam. There is plenty of exploring to do in the area!

There is a plaque nearby, although, not at the location given. There are serveral structures in varying states of decay nearby, including the dam. This location can be reached by ATV road or by canoe. The walk from a main road is not very long and I made it with my wife and two small children during a beautiful fall day. The water is nice, so feel free to come prepared to wade or swim.
The mill burned down the spring of 2007, however the stoneworks and dam still remain. It is still a neat place where you can see the relics of an old mill. Pictures of the area as it ages would be a great testament showing how time takes its toll.
