Sarah died on August 30th 1932 and would have died before the Second World War. She would have lived through the First World War, Boer War and the Crimean War. The Russian Revolution happened during her lifetime and she would have been a child when slavery was abolished in 1833. Many people were transported to Australia during her life.

James Ramsay MacDonald would have been Prime Minister when she died and George V was King.
