Parking available right at the river gauge - just pull off US23 on the southeast side. The coords are from the link below which were found to be very accurate (as close as I could get).

The Holston River flows into the Tennessee which then enters the Mississippi.

The gauge website says the more recent high crest was 15.10 ft on 11/20/2003 which cut off county road 614 to the east (upstream).
