In front of the church sits the Head of River cemetery, where most members of the original congregation were buried. There is also a small Baptist cemetery of about ten grave markers just across the street. The graves at the church cemetery are old! I was unable to find any recent graves. The newest grave I found was at least 50 years old. I am unsure if the church is actually still active. If I didn't know any better, I'd say the graveyard was abandoned, but, someone seems to be mowing the grass, weed-whacking and tending to other landscaping needs.
This NRHP church is a plain meetinghouse, with no significant detail of which to speak. This church's society was founded in 1780, while the church was built in 1792. A monument and several plaques can be found near the church attesting to this.
