Pioneer Waterfront Plaza was completed in 1993. The plaque is located in the deck adjacent to the Wharfinger's office. Pioneer Waterfront Plaza provides shops, restaurants and public facilities and access to the Inner Harbour and Boat Basin for visitors who arrive by sea and auto. Public parking is concealed beneath the Plaza deck and the Wharfinger and Harbourmaster's office, The Seaplane Terminal, is located nearby.
