This landmark water tower brings back memories, and every time I see it, I think of the Animaniacs. Did you know that Yakko, Wakko, and Dot were locked up inside the Water Tower for sixty years, until they escaped in 1990, creating the Animaniacs cartoon?
Legend has it that when Warner Brothers moved the Water Tower from the center of the lot, to it's current location back in the 1930's, the cartoon stars were locked up, only to be released in 1990!
The tower is still the original structure that has stood the test of time, and was repainted not too long ago.
