The Grange stands in parkland of 40 acres near the village church. It is an old house much modernised and was the residence of Mr Edward Gordon Williams in 1912.

In the village timeline the first mention of Hockliffe Grange is when the Gilpin family moved in during 1616. It was then largely rebuilt in 1749. This information can be found here: (visit link)
