In the Edison Township, New Jersey, sits the location of Thomas Alva Edison's laboratory. On the occasion of his birth, a memorial tribute to Edison was unveiled. Atop the structure is an enormous incandescent light bulb that is a tribute to one of his most famous inventions.
Also on the location is a small museum. A new larger museum and rennovations of the memorial tower are planned.
