This Sphinx reflects the artistic flair of this town. It was created out of natural stones. Clay was used to add the nose and unite the stones. It sits guard in front of The Purple Parrot, a small cottage that serves as a studio and gift shop. It was created several years ago by an artist who was renting the studio at that time.
