Lutheran Church in the Foothills was started in February 1948. The property where the church stands was bought in 1949 and the church opened in 1950. As the congregation grew, they decided to build a new ans larger sanctuary. This was built in 1965. The website is full of information and links. This church is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
