In July, 1988, the Meyronne Lions' cenotaph was dedicated by the Lafleche Legion. Located beside the Meyronne Post Office (visit link) . An attractive stone monument and plaque, with a Canadian flag, properly maintained, flying at its side.

"In October 1927, The Meyronne Cenotaph was constructed in the memory of all who served in the armed services from 1914 - 1918.
In 1988 the members of the "Lion's Club" of Meyronne built a new cenotaph. It is a hugh stone set on a cement foundation, with a beautiful bronze plaque attached to the face. This plaque has all the names of the members from Meyronne, who served in the Armed Forces in World War I and World War II.
In July 1988, the Village of Meyronne held a homecoming and the 75th Anniversary of the Village. At this time the "Royal Canadian Legion Branch #204" Lafleche Sask. performed the dedication ceremony of the new Cenotaph in a very impressive manner."
