In 1881 Pinellas pioneer James Parramore McMullen donated 10 acres of land on N.E. Coachman Road in Clearwater, Florida to be used as a cemetery for his relatives. The cemetery lies 8/10 of a mile east of Hercules Avenue at 2251 N.E. Coachman Road.
