This boat is kind of a billboard. It invites drivers to take a ten-mile detour along the levees of the
California Delta. We admit, without this boat, we would have probably never learned about this scenic bypass.
The Delta is formed by the confluences of the biggest rivers running through the Central Valley: the San Joaquin, the Sacramento, the Mokelumne and the Calaveras River. Before jointly reaching the San Francisco bay, these rivers crisscross, forming 200,000 acres of wetlands, sloughs and islands and more than 1,000 miles of waterways. The Delta Loop covers only a very small part of the area, but there are over 50 points of interest like marinas, resorts, restaurants and gift shops along the way.
The boat also advertises the Loop's official website www.deltaloop.com
