The inscription on the table reads: In memory of Arthur Smith, a doughty fighter for footpaths and access to mountains. Erected by the Peak and Northern Footpaths Society and the Ramblers Assocn.
We had a great walk up here on a January Sunday morning, doing some geocaching on the way.
