QD1053 - USCGS L359, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along Rd. 370, about 12.2 miles north of the Cascade Lakes Highway. The cap is set in a boulder about 30 feet west of the road centerline. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1942 and was marked L359. The boulder does not appear to be inplace and is settling along the edge of an unused right of way that was cleared in the 1960’s.
