Ron Hurtubise was the caretaker for this park and facility for many years in addition to being a much respected citizen of Bark River. He passed away suddenly in June 2007. There are two identical benches here dedicated to him. My pictures are of the bench to the south of the door. The north softball diamond in the park is also dedicated to him as well.
