The Wilderness Glen that runs along Los Alisos was once the private ranch road that ran towards the canyons. According to legend, the
notorious 19th Century Outlaw Joaquin Murieta used the Sycamore tree near the road for a hiding place.

The plaque is located on the undeveloped corner across from 7-11 and Taco Bell and reads reads:
