This windmill can be seen from the freeway near Carlsbad. It was the home of Stuart Andersen's split pea soup restaurant. It is now the home of TGI Fridays.

As child when my family was returning from Sea World, we always stopped at this Stuart Andersen split pea soup restaurant. I have no idea why, none of us like split pea soup. However, it was a tourist attraction in the sixties and seventies. Let me know if you ever were there.
Now days it is a TGI Fridays, and so my wife and I like to stop and eat here.
