PB0571 - USCGS F369 RESET, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This benchmark is located along the Cascade Lakes Highway about 20 miles southwest of Bend. The cap is set in a concrete post, about 90 feet south of the highway centerline at the edge of road right of way clearing. The cap was set by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1963 and was marked F369 RESET.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1963. 19.6 MILES SOUTHWEST ALONG CENTURY DRIVE FROM THE POST OFFICE AT BEND, DESCHUTES COUNTY, ON THE OUTSIDE OF A CURVE IN THE HIGHWAY, 86 FEET SOUTHWEST OF THE CENTER OF CENTURY DRIVE, 1 FOOT SOUTHEAST OF A METAL WITNESS POST, ABOUT 6 FEET BELOW THE LEVEL OF THE HIGHWAY, AND SET IN THE TOP OF A 12-INCH SQUARE CONCRETE MONUMENT THAT PROJECTS 3 INCHES.
