To reach the scenic overlook, you will have to climb the summit of Hogback Mountain. You begin your journey by parking at the Wetmore Landing parking area just off of County Road 550 northwest of Marquette. From there it is roughly a 2 mile hike one way back to the overlook. The last bit of the hike has some uphill, but it is not a bad walk and is certainly worth the breathtaking view.
