This windmill can be seen from the freeway near Carlsbad. It was the home of Stuart Andersen's split pea soup restaurant. It is now the home of TGI Fridays and a hotel.

As child when my family was returning from Sea World, we always stopped at this Stuart Andersen restaurant. I have no idea why, none of us like split pea soup. However it was a tourist attraction in the sixties and seventies. Let me know if you ever were there.

Now days it is a TGI Fridays, and so my wife and I like to stop and eat here.
