DESCRIBED BY US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY 1952 (RHT)
STATION IS LOCATED ON THE EAST END OF SANIBEL ISLAND UNDER THE
POINT YBEL LIGHTHOUSE. STATION IS 9 FEET EAST NORTHEAST OF THE
WEST LEG OF LIGHTHOUSE AND 9 FEET WEST SOUTHWEST OF THE APPROXIMATE
CENTER OF LIGHTHOUSE. THE MARK IS OF CONCRETE, ABOUT 6 INCHES IN
DIAMETER AND PROJECTS ABOUT 1 INCH. THE DISK WHICH IS A STANDARD
U.S.G.S. BENCH MARK IS STAMPED 123 ERS 1952
