This aircraft propeller is on display in the City of Salamanca, New York. It was originally used on U.S. Air Force - Convair T-29's and the U.S. Air Force - Douglas C118's. The propeller weighs in at almost 1,000 lbs. with a blade span of 15.5 feet. This propeller was manufactured by Hamilton Standard.
This propeller was placed on permanent display outside the gates of Veterans Memorial Park by the City of Salamanca, along with two other military displays, consisting of a Army tank and a Navy anchor.
