This clock is quite unusual in that it has letters instead of numbers. The letters spell the phrase "Lest We Forget" the motto of the Returned Services League. Like many things in this town, the clock stands as a soldiers' memorial. Set into the footpath below the clock are artistic tiles created by various people in the town.
