Maps can be obtained at the ranger station at the entrance of the park. Color maps are outside of the station, so the station doesn't necessarily need to be open for participants getting their map.

Permanent markers are made of metal stake with a placard in white and red color, and a letter identifying the marker.

Three routes are suggested, beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate, with the three differing mostly in length.

The park is hilly with some steep slopes. Some rock cliffs are found. The golf course adjacent to the park is off-limits.

Parking is allowed on the street near the park entrance.

Coordinates point to the pedestrian entrance to the park, and where the ranger station is located.

Difficulty level: intermediate
