Yunque 2 - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This was found atop the tower on top of El Yunque mountain in the rainforest of El Yunque NP. I had only stumbled upon it, as it's not tough to find once you're there. I just happened to take a picture of it, as I'd wondered where these things were cataloged. Now from Geocaching to searching for these Benchmarks!

Beautiful view and a nice hike. You can hike straight up the road from where the road is closed, as the maintenance people drive up to the top still to work on the tower and antennae. But the hike through the rainforest is best, stopping at Mt. Britton Tower as well.

This is atop the peak with the short castle-like tower and several telecommunications antennae. The marker is on top of the short building that looks like a castle, smack-dab in the center of the rooftop observation deck.
