In January of 1977 The Gazebo at Boardman Park was dedicated, and construction took eight weeks. This was made possible by the efforts of The Boardman Rotary, and the help of local volunteers.
In April 1977 the gazebo hosted it’s first Music In The Park concert, which continues to be a very popular with park goers.
The Gazebo is a great spot for outdoor weddings, receptions, and musical events. It can be rented, and there are enough benches to seat 75 people in the grass outside the Gazebo.
Boardman Park consists of 227 acres, and approximately 60 of them are developed with a wide variety of recreational facilities. The rest, 167 archers is Nature Preserve, making Boardman Park a true “Green Oasis” of the community.
