This will be flatwater paddling unless you choose to enter the Caloosahatchee River then it will become open water conditions.

There is no camping necessary. So far paddle craft do not need to be registered in Fl. If you plan to fish you will need a Salt Water Fishing License...there is good fishing here. My daughter caught a small Tarpon in the creek last year.
Type of trip:
Paddle out, turn around, paddle back. You could elect to choose a take out point elsewhere but this will require paddling in the Caloosahatchee River which is open water and will increase the difficulty.
Other information:
This is a great area for bird watching! If you go as far as the second bridge, stop a minute and listen to the bats that roost under there. It is an amazing experience!
