This unusual sundial is located in the Scented Garden within Winchester's Abbey Gardens in the centre of the city.

This is one of two sundials I noticed whilst visiting these lovely gardens in Winchester. The Scented Garden Sundial is behind Abbey House. This Georgian house is the residence of the Mayor of Winchester.
The Sundial is in the centre of the Scented Garden with its raised flower beds. It takes the form a large monolith which also also serves as a water feature with water squirting from the gnomon.
