The Los Angeles Natural History Museum was used as the "New York Natural History Museum" in the 13th episode of "Heroes" (season 1), entitled "Godsend."

In this episode, Hiro and Ando go to the museum to search for the legendary sword of Takezo Kensei. Hiro believes that in order to fully understand his abilities he must have the sword in his possession. Using what's left of his powers, he slows time to a crawl and retrieves the sword from a glass case. He then runs towards a dinosaur depicted in a painting by Isaac Mendez and mimics the actions in the painting.

The scene takes place in the main rotunda of the museum, immediately behind the front service counter. There is a fee to get into the museum. As of January, 2009 prices are:

Adults: $9
Seniors (62+): $6.50
Students 18 and over with ID: $6.50
Children 13 through 17: $6.50
Children 5 through 12: $2
Children under 5: FREE
Movie or TV Show: Heroes

Year Released or First Aired: 2,006.00
