On a warm summer afternoon we decided to take a break from our Geocaching day to have something to eat. There was an inconspicuous sign on State Rout 7 which said "Bill's World Famous Restaurant" It was Sunday, and we weren’t sure if it was open or not, but we gave it a shot.
Sure enough Bill’s was open. I was surprised to find out they have a breakfast menu along with their lunch specials and a mouth watering dinner menu. Hours for food service are from 7:00 to 9:00.
When you walk through the door there is a full bar on the left, and on the right there are a few tables as well as about ten booths. Bill’s is a Bar and Grill, so I wouldn’t recommend it for young children, but if that’s your situation, call ahead and get take out.
I have had the Pulled Pork Sandwich, which supports a South Carolina style barbecue sauce. The ribs fall off the bone, and are smothered in a sweet thick barbecue sauce. For a side dish I recommend the coleslaw.
The service is fast and friendly, with that welcome home feeling when you walk through the door.
In conclusion, if you live within fifty miles of Bill’s Barbecue, and may sometime become hungry, give them a try.
