The Birmingham and Fazeley Canal Toll House(originally 1787) has 3 windows to enable the toll keeper to look out for boats approaching from both directions.

Users of the canal once had to stop here to pay the owners a toll based on the weight and nature of their cargo.

The toll office is now a the Café on the quayside.
