Paul Dresser was born in Terre Haute, Indiana. The homestead is now part of Fairbanks city park. Dresser is best-known for composing what would become the state song of Indiana, "On the Banks of the Wabash, Far Away". The home is not officially open for tours.
The Indiana Historical Marker was already waymarked as WM1F57.
