The Plantation House is a popular stop for travellers on Interstate 75, providing fuel, food and souveniers representing Georgia and Florida.
Travellers who venture west will find themselves in the small town of Arabi, Georgia. Arabi was incorporated in 1888 just ten miles south of the Crisp County seat, Cordele.
Visitors who head south along US-41, Bedgood Avenue, will find the city hall, fire department and police department conveniently located in one building, which was constructed in 1976 with 1100sqft.
The firehouse extends into the garage portion with two response vehicles. The cooperation agreement with Crisp County Fire Rescue assists the Arabi Fire Department in training and providing adept equipment to increase response time.
