Celebrated in Fellini in his 1970 movie "Roma" where police squads attacked young bohemians and political demonstrators (in a parody of the 1969 Democratic Party convention in Chicago), this fountain and plaza is still today the default rendevous point for the young and loose in today's Rome.
Designed by Carlo Fontana in 1692, it has an octagonal plan.
