When this Category was first introduced, I had no idea what it was about or the nearly cult status that this strange, refreshing beverage with the dark "boba's" hovering in the bottom of the cup had in our society.

Being a relative neophyte to the mysteries of Bubble Tea, I had not a clue as
to what this whole business with the tapioca "pearls" was about.
I've certainly had tapioca as a dessert before, but a drink??
I was an early adopter to this Category and was quickly promoted to officer
status. Right from the beginning, I could sense the pressure to submit a
Waymark to this fledgling Category. I searched around in the Yellow Pages
and the Internet. Many sleepless nights I despaired that I'd ever be able
to find a Bubble Tea Shop that was less than an hours drive from my house.
As luck would have it, I found a reference to this Bubble Tea Shop on a cultish
Bubble Tea Forum. The shadow of the almost Fraternity House indoctrination
hazing was beginning to lift.
I quickly roped my son into helping me out on this expedition and we hit the
road early one day in search of Tapioca Delight.
The shopkeeper was a very gracious lady named "Tune", who was more
than happy to explain how Bubble Tea was made and even went so far as to indulge
us by letting us take pictures of the process. So without further adieu, I
present.....
The Mysteries of Bubble Tea Revealed!
Step 1: Take container and dispense flavoring (in my case, I chose
strawberry)
Step 2: Dispense powdered milk.
Step 3: Dispense simple syrup for sweetening.
Step 4: Dispense tea.
Step 5: Add ice
Step 6: Shake vigorously.
Step 7: Dispense Bubbles to plastic cup and pour mixture over.
Step 8: Place cup in sealer machine to seal top of drinking cup.
Step 9: Have customer pierce top of lid with large straw.
Step 10: Ready to hit the road and enjoy!
