This nature trail takes the seldom used South Plateau trail. Taking that into account, the nature trail is often done in conjunction as part of a loop hike. Depending on your time and stamina, their are several options to make a loop hike, using the South Plateau Trail as a starting point, which ranges from about 2.5 miles to nearly 7 miles.
Unfortunately, I don't believe there is parking near the start of the Nature Trail, as such, most people park just outside the park on the shoulder of Hwy 1 and walk in. If you choose to drive onto the Reserve, there is a Park Entrance Fee, and the closest parking that I'm aware of is at Whalers Cove.
