The Gilroy Lodge was chartered in 1929. Brother Wheeler donated this handsome downtown building to house the Lodge. In 1969, the Elks moved to their current location on Hecker Pass Highway, just west of town. They sold this downtown building, which has had many tenants in the years since; now it is a fitness gym.
