The home Port of Titanic and the White Star Line, Commissioned this memorial to remember the heroism and devotion to duty shown by the ships engineers who remained at their posts, enabling the ship to stay afloat as long as possible.
The Design of the Memorial was changed during construction to include the Mariners lost during World War 1.
